At The Brooklynn Miller Foundation, it is our mission to bring joy and create lasting memories for children facing cancer and critical illnesses. Through heartfelt gifts and experiences, we aim to uplift their spirits, foster resilience, and spread hope in their journey towards healing.
Impact story
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, life changes for the entire family. Hospital rooms replace playgrounds, treatment schedules replace routines, and parents are suddenly carrying fear, exhaustion, and hope all at the same time. Arianna was only six months old when doctors found a tumor. She had surgery to remove her kidney, followed by months of chemotherapy and radiation. Treatment was incredibly hard on her little body, and she needed a G-tube for nutrition, which led to additional hospitalizations. After completing treatment, Arianna was finally considered NED, no evidence of disease, and her family began to breathe again. She was thriving, growing, and meeting milestones. Then, at her 10-month post-treatment scan, doctors found a new tumor, even larger than the first. Arianna is now facing cancer for the second time at the age of two. Through The Brooklynn Miller Foundation, families like Arianna’s receive more than just a gift. They receive a reminder that they are seen, supported, and not walking this road alone.
