Impact story
Shifting Gears: Moving From Pixels to Pavement. Who We Are The Face Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to crushing food insecurity, healthcare inequality, and educational disparities from Sugar Hill, Georgia, to Saint Mary, Jamaica. We believe that zero hunger, proper nutrition, and strong school performance are fundamental rights for every child. Through rapid-response aid and localized initiatives, we turn compassion into concrete action: Hunger Relief: Over 1,000 meals distributed monthly to vulnerable families across Georgia and the Caribbean. Disaster Recovery: Direct mobilization of emergency supply drives and shipping barrels to hurricane-devastated communities in Jamaica. Healthcare Access: Raising funds for critical medical transportation to shuttle stranded, vulnerable patients to emergency care in Saint Mary. Educational Equity: Partnering with local businesses to gift backpacks and essential school supplies at regional cultural events, like our annual Juneteenth celebration at The Bowl at Sugar Hill. From Pixels to Pavement: Our Next Chapter Since our inception, Face Friends Foundation has operated entirely as a lean, 100% virtual organization. From behind our screens, we have successfully coordinated remote resources to transform thousands of lives. We proved that a digital backbone can build a powerful movement. But community needs are physical. You cannot digitally download fresh produce to a starving family. You cannot build deep, localized trust entirely through a web browser. To scale our mission and meet our neighbors exactly where they are, we must close the physical gap. We are officially approved to acquire a heavy-duty operational delivery and engagement vehicle through the Georgia Surplus Property Program. By purchasing from the state at a fraction of retail value, your donation has triple the purchasing power. This vehicle will become our mobile, physical powerhouse—allowing us to execute bulk food rescues and run pop-up resource hubs at local vendor events. The $1,800 Funding Milestone While the state has approved our asset allocation, we need to clear the final administrative hurdles to legally transfer the vehicle and get it on the road. We need to raise exactly $1,800 to fund: $1,200: State Acquisition Service Fee paid directly to the Georgia DOAS to secure the vehicle.$600: Vehicle registration, tag, Title Ad Valorem Tax (TAVT), and mandatory state licensing. Every single dollar given toward this milestone carries immense structural leverage. You are turning a minor administrative fee into a permanent, rolling physical asset for Georgia communities. Help us pivot our impact from pixels to pavement. Select Your Sponsorship Impact Level $50 | Fuel the FleetFills the first tank of gas and secures physical vendor permits for our very first community pop-up event. $150 | Road Ready PartnerFunds 25% of our mandatory state title, tag, and vehicle registration fees to clear state compliance. $600 | Title & Tag ChampionFully covers the entire $600 state registration, tag, and title tax costs to make this vehicle legally ours. $1,200 | State Acquisition SponsorFully funds the direct $1,200 Georgia DOAS service fee, completely unlocking the vehicle from the state surplus yard for immediate deployment.
