Our mission

CollabED exists to ensure every teacher is supported and able to thrive in a profession where they are desperately needed. We create equitable, accessible spaces where educators connect, share best practices, and grow through meaningful professional development that improves outcomes for students.

Impact story

Teachers are amazing people, and they deserve a community of their own people around them. CollabED was founded in 2025 by working teachers who knew the best help a teacher ever gets usually comes from another educator who has already solved the same problem. In just over a year, more than 180 educators across the country have joined CollabED, supported by over 60 volunteer educators. With one free account, a teacher can talk shop in 41 peer channels organized by grade, subject, and role. They can take any of 22 self-paced PD courses built by educators, get matched with a mentor from another school or state, and pull from a library of 251 classroom-tested resources. Every program is free to the educator, forever. Volunteers do the work, and CollabED runs on about $560 a month. With an expanded budget, we could increase our reach and our footprint, bringing mentoring, wellness support, and new-teacher programs to many more educators. We are looking for partners to help us grow. Every gift keeps a teacher connected, supported, and in the classroom where students need them most.
