Our mission

Abrazos Network surrounds caregivers, patients, veterans, children, and families with compassionate support when they need it most. We provide practical assistance, essential supplies, food and emergency support, resource navigation, referrals, and community outreach. Through year-round programs and community partnerships, we help ease everyday burdens, connect people to resources, and remind them that they are not alone.

Impact story

Abrazos Network was born from my own experience as a caregiver. Caring for my mother, Carmen, as she faced cancer and dementia showed me how overwhelming it can be to care for someone you love while trying to navigate the practical, emotional, and financial challenges that come with it. After losing my mother in 2025, I knew I wanted to turn that experience into something that could help others. Today, Abrazos Network provides year-round support to caregivers, patients, veterans, children, and families facing financial hardship or difficult circumstances. We help connect people with food, essential supplies, school resources, emergency assistance, referrals, and community support. In 2026, our Abrazos Student Success Program helped provide backpacks and school supplies to 131 students. Our goal is to make sure people don't have to face difficult seasons alone. Every donation helps us turn compassion into practical support and reminds someone that they are not alone. Because sometimes what people need most isn't just a resource—it's an abrazo.
